In today’s world, information is at the touch of a button, whether that button exists on a TV remote control, computer, radio or cell phone. But is all information credible? And how do you know what information has been altered or omitted, either deliberately or inadvertently?
I’m a 12-year military veteran with 13 years of experience in the media industry. My background, race, experiences and understanding of both the media industry and the world — as well as the society in which I live — provides me with unique perspectives.
Most important of all is my belief in Jesus Christ. The blessing I’ve received of the spiritual gift of insight is one I am honored to use in service to Jesus and to the truth. After all, whatever your belief may be, the one thing most all men and women have in common is a shared regard for truth.
For a Christian, truth is paramount. Truth is fundamental. And truth is the power that exposes lies, deceit, misconceptions and propaganda. Truth is what sets us free from the bonds of enslavement to erroneous ideals and manipulations by those who seek to abuse the power inherent in the masses.
This online home is my attempt to share unique perspectives with anyone who ventures into this realm. My perspectives are based upon knowledge, experience and insight that perhaps may open a portal through which greater understanding of news and issues may be gleaned.
I invite your feedback for discussion and debate on all issues, ranging from individual beliefs to family, relationships and community, to societal news and issues. This is a civil forum where all views are considered worthy. After all, the truth is afraid of no challenge and welcomes all.
I do not pretend to know all truth, nor have exclusive rights to it. Thus, I’m willing to learn from others just as much as I am willing to share my own knowledge and insights.
